The first excursion of the 2015 NRHS Convention returns to Rutland Yard. The historic ex Rutland Railroad RS-1 has spent it's entire life on these rails. The train ran as a mixed freight from Rutland to Ludlow and returned as passenger only. It is seen at the junction of the line to Bellows Falls (Green Mountain) on the left and the line to North Bennington (Vermont Railway) on the right. Everything is now run as Vermont Rail System. This was once the heart of the Rutland Railroad.
