| A special task for the photographer, to picture the locomotive of his "own" train! The train with 60 guests made a round trip through eastern part of Switzerland this evening, starting in Winterthur through the "Valley of the howling winds" (Töss valley) via Bauma-Rüti (ZH) to Rapperswil. The classic Gotthard locomotive Ae 6/6 # 11407 "Aargau" from 1956 is just running around the train in Rapperswil. Then we will start again via Uznach-Wattwil-St.Gallen-Romanshorn-Kreuzlingen-Weinfelden back to Winterthur, with two first class cars and the beautiful blue former CIWLT diner WR 2749 from 1926 in the consist. A really great trip with nice guests, fine food and drink!
