Remarks & Notes
electric Stars and Stripes. The first electric locomotive honoring our veterans is brand new and gleaming in the sun. This loco was built by Siemens in Sacramento and painted with platinum mist and grey before being transferred to the Amtrak Beech Grove facility in Indiana, where it was finished in red white and blue, and decorative trim. It has been running in revenue service since 7/2/15, and is an attention grabber.
