| An eastbound LIRR commuter train works its way through Harold Interlocking on Line 3 shortly after clearing the East River Tunnels. An Amtrak ballast train with GP15D 576 works in the distance on Line 4. The new crossover switch at left (one of many being installed in this area) is part of the ongoing East Side Access project which will eventually bring LIRR trains to Grand Central Station. |
