With three large GE's on the head end, and two more on the rear, all in run 8, this heavy southbound Union Pacific drag freight struggles up grade as it approaches Woodford. With the sun already partially behind the hills to the west, it will be fully gone by the time the rear DPUs round the horseshoe curve approaching Woodford.
Coal and steel don't go bad. This album features long, slow, heavy freight trains; drag freights, slop freights, dead freights, etc. Trains with lots of power, and lots of different cargo slogging along behind.
