Found waiting in the BNSF engine servicing yard is PRLX 1502, a SW1500 (or is it a MP15?) belonging to Progress Rail Services. The lettering on the cab also notes “A Caterpillar Company”, a reference to PRS being a wholly owned subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc. since 2006. In 2010, Progress Rail Service purchased Electro-Motive Diesel, Inc., and so it is probably only a matter of time before we start seeing the new SD90MAC’s in Cat Yellow. 8^)
