The westbound Amtrak Southwest Chief, AMTK 3, speeds over the jointed rail of the BNSF Raton Subdivision under the intense, stormy skies of a brewing monsoon. These semaphores certainly are not long for the world and that really is a shame, but I sure am glad I was able to see them for myself, to say nothing of 90MPH running on jointed rail.
