Delaware and Hudson 7303 sits idle after running the final D11, as the 2nd to last final CP Train 458 awaits a form D with permission to head south. The Canadian Pacific Sunbury Subdivision, was in the final stages of transfer to Norfolk Southern, with only 2 days remaining before the sale was complete. I like to think of this picture as the next chapter in the book. Canadian Pacific's as well as Delaware and Hudson's presence will be leaving Northeast Pennsylvania to have the newly deemed D&H South Line taken over by Norfolk Southern. With this photograph we say goodbye to an era, Long Live the D&H!
