Remarks & Notes
Saluting Our Veterans

While the odds of catching the NS Veterans unit at this location are slim, its even harder to catch Amtrak's Veterans unit. With dozens of NS trains traversing this line a day and only two Amtrak trains (one in each direction) it would seem almost impossible to shoot this unit here. However for the Veterans unit led the previous days Westbound Pennsylvanian and came back East the following morning. In this scene AMTK 42 is closing in on Tyrone, the next stop on its Eastbound journey along the NS Pittsburgh Line as it ducks under an original PRR signal bridge.
