Remarks & Notes

This old 0-6-0 originally built in 1915 by H.K. Porter for the Southern Sand and Gravel Company stands outside the Steaming Tender Restaurant. This restaurant is at the site of a former train depot in Palmer, MA. This location is a popular destination for Massachusetts railfans. During a busy day the full parking lot usually makes a clear photo op for this artifact difficult.
