| The Rio Grande Zephyr is nearing the tunnel district as it crosses Route 72 at the mouth of Coal Creek Canyon. Over the next 15 miles, the train will make twenty-nine subterraneous forays before it encounters another paved road, again Route 72, at Pinecliff. |
