| On a cool, brisk morning, CSXT SD70MAC 4521 & SD40-3 4038 pilot a Q417 to start the southbound parade past the colorful peak foliage at Cementon Curve out of Selkirk Yard. The crew held for priority northbounds Q003 & Q161 at Coxsackie. Getting a well timed southbound freight(preferably on the far track main) during the peak foliage on this scenic elevated curve in the mornings has been a battle for me over the years. Autumn's moody weather and CSXT's equally moody traffic patterns on this line often team up to make this a bigger challenge than it may seem. |
