Vintage Class 5E1 Series 5 locomotive, E1101, originally built in 1966, pictured here at Danskraal Locomotive Depot in Ladysmith. Transnet Freight Rail have retained two Class 5E1 Series 5 locomotives in service, E1101 & E1102, both have been significantly upgraded and are now used for Road Knowledge purposes.
