After 24+ hours since departing Chicago Union Terminal, a still on time(!!) Texas Eagle rolls into Temple on a busy Sunday afternoon. The northbound Eagle (22), although only departing San Antonio in the morning, is approximately 4.5 hours late so far. 21 and 22 will meet just past the Temple Depot, where the train moves on to the old MKT line south to Taylor.
