Eastbound freight EDPO (East Deerfield, MA - Portland, ME) works its way east with 82 cars powered by MEC 618, 601, 617. At one time all these units were powered by EMD's 20 cylinder engine and were built as SD45's and SD45-2's. Today they have been rebuild to SD40-2 specs and earn their keep moving traffic in and out of New England.
