Remarks & Notes
The first of sixty-six E44s built for the Pennsylvania Railroad approaches Port Interlocking. At nearly 70 feet long and weighing in at over 190 tons, these locomotives were always an impressive sight, even in Conrail's "minimalist" paint scheme. No. 4400 was built in December, 1960.
