| NKP #765 struts her stuff in the Lehigh Gorge. In this scene she's southbound on the Reading & Northern's former CNJ right of way, creating a celebratory smoke ring ahead of her arrival at Jim Thorpe. This was the second of two excursions which saw the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society's Indiana based Berkshire run from Allentown to Pittston, PA via Jim Thorpe and return. The excursions - which ran without the assistance of a diesel were sponsored by Norfolk Southern. |
