Remarks & Notes

Sunrise at the PRASA (Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa) yard just north of Durban Station. Brand new to the PRASA Class 18E fleet at the time the photo was taken, 18-435 (with 18-434 coupled behind), had arrived in Durban the previous morning from Johannesburg with the overnight Trans Natal passenger train. These two locomotives were the last two Class 18E main line passenger locomotives added to the PRASA fleet.
