Sometimes in the UK we have snow. This was the second week of the Santa Specials on Tanfield Railway and the snow came with a vengeance. The railway remained open, many customers came despite the weather. Two locomotives were used. Here 49 waits for the incoming train so that it can run back with happy children after they has seen Santa
