| NS SD40-2 #3536 is the last of a group of 80 SD40-2s Norfolk Southern purchased from Helm Leasing from November 2013 to June 2014 that still retains its former owner's paint scheme. There's no mistaking this locomotive's heritage as it was built as Burlington Northern #8056 in November 1979. It and sister #3580 are currently assigned to Monday-Friday local train A25. |
