A BNSF freight of carload and vehicle traffic bends around the curve east of Belen, NM and approaches Abo Canyon with a nice variety of early merger color. At this time, none of the units had been re-numbered, but lead unit 533 had been re-painted with new lettering, but keeping its original Santa Fe number.
