Denver & Rio Grande Western K-36's #485 and #487 get in position next to the coal tower for servicing prior to their next assignment that will likely include surmounting the grades of the San Juan Mountain Range. Photo taken on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad during a Pete Lerro night photo session.
