Remarks & Notes
The Lone Survivor

One of two SD45's (the only one active) still owned by the New York Susquehanna & Western re-entered the active roster after a half million dollar rebuild. The unit has since been relegated to yard service and only seeing the mainline dead in tow on the road freights or under the cover of darkness. On this day however a rare "Sparta Turn" operated in daylight with the NYSW 3618 for power. The train is seen passing the classic Newfoundland Station as seen in The Station Agent.
