| The NS Interstate heritage leads NS 22K over State St in downtown Schenectady as it rolls by the Amtrak station. The track on the right is Amtrak's Hudson Line, the ex NYC Water Level. The old D&H and NYC mains run parallel for a short distance here. The end of NS track ownership is just a short distance ahead of this train. While an Interstate in Schenectady may look odd, the original Interstate units in this scheme were built just a mile from this location.
