Deep in the depths of Grand Central Terminal you have a choice of two subway lines. This is the No 7 station and it is one of the few that has a barrel ceiling. During renovations about 15 years ago the lights you see were installed and it gave the space a much needed aesthetic lift. "The People Ride In A Hole In The Ground!"
