Remarks & Notes
Here we see Amtrak’s Southwest Chief as it travels past an active set of semaphore signals. While many of these historic signals have fallen in recent months, located in Chapelle, NM, featured are only two of many in the area that remain operational. Decorated in the Phase III paint scheme, this train features Heritage unit #145 leading.
