Burlington Northern Santa Fe’s local from Sterling to Alliance negotiates a “s” curve climbing the grade toward Peetz, Colorado, on the Angora Subdivision, on January 24, 1998. Behind BN SD70MAC No. 9546 are Cascade green switchers SW1200 No. 248 and SW1500 No. 310.
