Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District train #14, heading from South Shore, Indiana, to Chicago, Illinois, has gotten a green (traffic) signal and is accelerating out of the 11th Street station, kicking up a bit of fresh snow in the process. The Chicago South Shore and South Bend line through Michigan City, Indiana, features street running down 11th Street, and traffic is light on this January 18th, 2016, morning due to the snow and a temperature of -1º F, with a wind-chill that made it feel as if it were -18º F!
