High Speed 1 is the first high-speed railway in the UK opened in 2007, connects London and Channel Tunnel in South East. Southeastern operates the domestic high-speed service using the Japan built Class 395 Javelin, with speed up to 225 km/h on the HS1 section. The full regular service commenced in December 2009.
