Here we have a personal favorite of mine, of which features a lit semaphore signal. Having stood the test of time, it stands tall as the full moon rises above a distant mesa on the evening of a "Blood Eclipse". Located in Chapelle, NM, seen here is only one of many operational signals that remain active along the Glorieta & Raton Subdivision for daily use.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
