Many decades ago the Wadley Railroad Depot was built, but with time comes change. In 1907 the Atlanta, Birmingham, and Atlantic Railroad served this depot. The deep rumble of an approaching train, would be that of a steam locomotive with black smoke pouring from its smoke-stacks. For many years now the depot has been dormant, but still standing. Present day, the rumble is that of a diesel locomotive that's loaded with the most advanced technology and is more Eco-friendly.... On a clear and sunny day, S026 takes a trip north with EMD power on the point, while passing by the beautiful train station that gives a glimpse into the past of what use to be.
