Beech Mountain Alco S4 #115 leads a string of CSX loaded hoppers across Palace Valley Road from the Carter-Roag Mine at Star Bridge to Alexander. From Alexander they will be picked up by the A&O and eventually CSX on their way to Baltimore and export to parts unknown. Another valuable load of Upshur County WV coal helps feed a worldwide economy.
