| A northbound Union Pacific coal empty heads to the mines at Converse Junction, Wyoming in Powder River Basin on June 13, 2014. In the foreground is another UP coal empty waiting to load at Antelope Mine with two former Southern Pacific AC4400CWs as a rear DPU. With today’s coal business eroding away—and with a four track main line through here over Logan Hill, and five tracks into Antelope—it makes one wonder how long all this trackage can last… |
