MRL 290, former GN SDP40 321/BN 6395, is on lease to Eastern Washington Gateway. The crew has gone to work by driving out two hours to Coulee City, WA from Cheney, fired up the power and have moved it to the elevators to pick up grain loads. Once the train is assembled, the train will start the 15 loads east as a "scooter" train, picking up additional loads at a number of elevators on the 100 miles plus trip to the Hi-Line grain shuttle loading elevator about 5 miles west of Cheney, WA.
