HRRC 22 sits quietly on a siding at the HRRC Shops in Canaan, CT. The GP7u sports the paint scheme of the Bangor & Aroostook Railroad, just one of its former owners. The unit started off as ATSF 2722, then it was sold to the Bangor & Aroostook who changed its number to 22. The number stuck when it was sold to the Montreal, Maine & Atlantic who then sold it to its current owner the Housatonic Railroad. In total the unit has seen service from Missouri to Maine and has been owned by four different railroad company's over the course of over 60 years.
Not
