| The Dresser Turn heads back to Humboldt with a Herzog ballast train with a pair of the ECO's. Here the train hammers along on the jointed rail of the CN Dresser Sub. The CP uses the CN Dresser Sub from Withrow to Dresser to gain access to the rock quarry to load the CP rock trains.
The SD30C is built by EMD by using a rebuild frame from a SD40-2 with a new 3000 horse 12-710 prime mover. The locomotives meet Tier 0 emissions standards and the Canadian Pacific Railway had 20 locomotives rebuilt in 2013 and rebuilt more in 2015. These 2 are from the 2015 order. |
