"Slamming the Pompton Diamond"
The SU-99 is seen cruising past Pompton Junction with a trio of SD60s leading. Pompton Junction was where the New York Susquehanna & Western crossed with the Erie Railroad, until the EL era began. Today. the NYS&W Main Line remains in service, while the Ex-Erie Line is now the Pompton Branch. It is home to two active customers.
