Remarks & Notes

CNW 972 leads a westbound freight across the Chippewa River bridge as it leaves Eau Claire, WI after switching and a crew change in Altoona. Its headed for East Minneapolis and connections with BN, SOO and MILW. This is one of the last double track stretches of the "Route of the 400" in western Wisconsin.
