Remarks & Notes

The iconic TRANS EUROP EXPRESS RAe TEE II # 1053 from 1961, for the 4 electric overhead wire systems of Europe (15000 V 16,7 Hz AC, 25000 V 50 Hz AC, 3000 and 1500 V DC), which run over the Gotthard line between Zürich and Milan. The train was exhibited on the occasion of the Gotthard Base Tunnel opening event.
