| This weekend it is Tanfield railways gala and this year a USA tank built during World War 2 is one of the guest engines. Several of these locomotives made it into British Railways stock after the war and others were used by the National Coal Board for work at their mines in the Northumberland area. The staff of the railway have tried to recreate one of these locomotives for the event and here is the finishes article hauling a train of hopper wagons |
