An R160 train has just left Stillwell Avenue station at Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York for it's journey through Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens. It is because of trains like these that the Transit Authority is able to move up to 6 million people A DAY. And Coney Island? At it's death door 30 years ago, it is now a fresh, clean, safe place to have family fun on a beautiful spring night. And don't forget Nathan's hot dogs!
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
