A79 prepares to couple to its goods consist at Dennington, on the edge of Warrnambool in south-western Victoria. This train runs mostly in darkness from Melbourne, with an early morning arrival in Warrnambool and a late evening departure. In summer it would just catch the sunlight, and I was lucky to get several good shots of it over a few days in 2011. All Pacific National A class have since been withdrawn from service.
