HMCR 8560, the Huntsville & Madison County Railroad's newest engine, sits in the yard awaiting its first assignment on the railroad. It's paired up with the railroad's other operational B39-8, HMCR 8527. This engine was delivered on a local last week to the HMCR. The other B39-8 that's in ex-LMX paint, HMCR 8539, had too many issues with it for the railroad to find it profitable to repair and use, so now it sits next to their offices as a parts engine.
