The wig-wag in Oakdale, CA still stands, apparently still in use (no trains passed while I was there) protecting the E Street crossing on what appears to be the Sierra Northern (but I have since been told is UP). Conveniently for those traveling to/from Yosemite, it is literally yards, a short half-block, off CA 120 which leads to Yosemite Valley as well as crossing Tioga Pass to Nevada and Mono Lake. Well worth a brief stop!
