Class leader X31 accelerates through the curves out of Kilmore East, with a Seymour-Traralgon special celebrating 50 years of the X class. 31 is preserved in the classic Victorian Railways 'Blue & Gold' livery but is rarely seen on heritage trains - spending more time on hire to QUBE Logistics hauling revenue freight. Most of the consist is made up of original 1937 riveted 'S' cars from the 'Spirit of Progress,' including the distinctive Parlor Car (immediately behind the loco) with its rounded end.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
