Remarks & Notes
Burnover at 3N45 - [Blue Cut Fire Series] - An eastbound stack train grinds up the hill as it approaches the grade separation with USFS Road 3N45. Fire damage from the Blue Cut Fire is evident in the foreground where a month before the foliage of the coastal chaparral averaged head high in most of this area. Now, everything is level with the ground for the most part and come winter, this small basin will once again sprout green with life after the first rains release the nutrients currently tied up in the ash matrix.
