On Sunday, September 11, the final excursion train operating for the 24th Annual White River Junction Glory Days of the Railroad festival is seen arriving the station behind Vermont Railway GP40-2W #311 in the 50th Anniversary paint scheme. On the adjacent "Pompie" track, Providence & Worcester's display equipment - including the B40-8W #4006, Power Car (ex-E9B) #668, Gift Shop Car "Massachusetts" and oberservation car "New England" - are being readied to depart southbound.
