Remarks & Notes

Back in August 1975 I made my first trip into the Fraser and Thompson canyons with my friend Tim Repp. We tallied about 70 trains in as many hours, an amazing experience. The second train photographed in the canyon was this empty coal train powered by an MLW M630, no. 4563. The train has met a couple west bounds and will soon head north (east) to North Bend, BC for a crew change.
