7 miles east of Kosse, Texas is the large mine at Oak Grove, run by the largest power provider in the state, Lunminate. They operate 2 train sets that bring coal 13 miles south to the Oak Grove Steam Electric station. What is unique about this operation is they run with 2 ex EMD SD70ACe's demos. While the rest have gone to CN, two are still in their original paint hauling coal on this seldom photographed line in southeastern Texas.
