| Denver & Rio Grande Western #489, a 1925 Baldwin 2-8-2 drifts past Perry's Pond with 20 cars of a freight train. The massive 30 car freight had to be split in two sections at Cumbres Pass for the steep 4% grade descent to Chama, NM. A Friends of the C&TS charter. |
